Episode 4: Watercolors
Troye: So the results are on the screen, yes?Cathy: [off-screen] They should be.
Troye: Oh they are alright, I just wanted to make sure. That’s a lot of red.

Troye: Oh Remy, we need to have a little chat. Just us.

Troye: Why does over half of the audience think you killed Joey?
Remy: I-I… I’m not sure. Like I said, I hardly knew here, and just wished she picked up more after herself is all.

Troye: Listen, you were the next highest suspect on the list. Just because we’re both [bleep]ing fairies, doesn’t mean you’re getting any special treatment. Got it?
Claude: Y-yes. I-I don’t see what was wrong with just correcting her. No one knew this was going to become an MMBC!

Lily: Oh no, what did the viewers have to say about me?
Troye: Absolutely nothing. They think your innocent, Lily.

Chadrick: What’s the verdict?
Troye: Not guilty.
Chadrick: That’s a load off my chest. Hopefully we’ll catch the murder.
Troye: I hope so too.

Ethan: [mumbling] Don’t yell, please don’t yell….
Troye: Hey, are you alright?
Ethan: I-I’m just afraid you’re going to yell at me. Since they all probably thought I killed her.
Troye: Hey, relax! No one suspected you.
Ethan: Really?
Troye: Really. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Now c’mon, we’ve got another challenge to do.

Cathy: Alright, challenge time! You are to paint a picture, and whoever has the highest value is up for… “immunity”.
Claude: Couldn’t we have done this inside? Where there isn’t hail?
Cathy: No. Not enough space. Besides, you’ll build up resistance! Now get to painting!

Lily: Hey, I can’t get to the easel!
Cathy: [off-screen] Quit your whining! It looks like you can get to the easel just fine!
Lily: But I can’t.
[Technical Difficulties, please standby…]

Cathy: [yawning] Okay, next time we do a painting challenge, let’s make it a small painting. Also, let’s make sure it doesn’t go into the night.

Cathy: [off-screen] Looks like we have our first paintings completed!
[Emma’s painting is valued at $38, and Remy’s at $42.]

[Finley’s painting came in at $41, while Annalise’s painting came in at $36.]

[Ethan’s painting is valued at $33, Chadrick’s at $41, Radley’s at $39.]

[Claude’s painting is valued at $41, and Lily’s at $29.]
Lily: What the hell? C’mon now! I started late, and it got dark. Cut me some slack.

Troye: Hey Finley, I just wanted to say I really liked your art.
Finley: Oh, thank you! I was inspired by the coast we can kinda see from here, and also inspired by the fact I could take you there sometime.
Troye: O-oh! Sure. That would be nice.

Troye: Interesting style, Remy. I like how it’s different from the others.
Remy: Thank you. I find that painting helps calm me down, and the red reflects my anger.
Troye: Hey, whatever helps you, helps you. And I can say that we’re all a little tense right now, so I hoped this helped soothe everyone’s nerves.

“Hey, you’re up too?”
“Yeah, I was thinking about getting a drink. Care to join me?”
“Alright.”
----------------------------------------
“This is the good stuff for sure! I can feel myself getting juiced already!”
“Come over here for a second. I have to show you something.”
----------------------------------------
“What is— ompf! [splashing]”
“Wait, wait! I’ve got my outerwear on and—- [more splashing]”
“……..”
“……..”
[The feed was lost. Please standby.]

Francis MMBC Episode 4 End Notes
A Couple of Things:
The challenge setup was a doozy, thanks to something crashing the game. Clearing the cache helped, but I thought this challenge wasn’t going to happen.
I changed the stairs in the house to hopefully prevent routing failures. Let’s see how well that goes.
I had to chuck some screenshots for the death scenes. Not that they wouldn’t have given too much away, I just wanted to feel safe that it wouldn’t blatantly call out the murderer and the victim
Lastly, on these relationship scores. First, I forgot to take them before the victim was killed. However, I had a backup before they died! (Remember I changed the stairs and was wary of buy/build). Despite this, they were taken after they decayed. Though I don’t think its too bad, since they’re not too far down.
