Welcome back to the Monster Mash! This entry has borked CC, a chaotic household, and a little bit of progress. Let's see, shall we?

We start off peaceful enough with a nice family breakfast, only for you to realize that Ben's shoes are borked. This default has since been purged, but it was a bit ridiculous.

At work, Mason ended up getting a chance card...

...which I didn't mess up on! Huzzah!

This means Mason finally makes it to level eight after what feels like forever, given that he and Ben have been rotating who stays and who goes to work. (I'd hire a nanny for an hour if I could, but per the rules I'm trying not to use service sims, except for the grocery delivery service, which I've made exempt given the chaos of this household.)

I actually got some pictures with the kids this time! Here's Mason after teaching Neptune how to study. I've abandoned the quest for immortality, meaning Mason and Ben are spending more time at home.

Libra: Daddy I missed you so much!
Ben: I missed you too, honey.

Since the quest to become a vampire has now been abandoned, I decided that Mason should brush up on his witch powers the best that he can so he can turn Libra. He made some progress, but I doubt it'll happen before she heads of to uni since in-game she's very close to aging up to teen. Speaking of aging up....

Celeste and Katrina aged up! They're incredibly cute.

Ben also nabbed a promotion this time around! He's also level eight now, which is good for him since his LTW is to top his career (and in case you forgot, Mason's is to max out seven skills. He managed to max logic this round, which I didn't get a picture of, sadly.)

Ben got a temporary update to his look until I quit for the session and got rid of the default.

Synchronized potty training and potty training faces (which is one of the pictures I almost went with for the cover of this update.)

Given that most of my attention was on the adults' needs and getting the toddlers their skills, the kids had to find their own entertainment. Thankfully this is a beach lot!

More family cuteness!

After what seemed like forever, it was time for Alex to age up!

He rolled Knowledge, and I left the turn-ons and turn-off as is since I couldn't think of a good way to randomize it other than what the game gave me.

After Alex aged up ACR had these two ready to woohoo. Also with their secondary aspirations being family, they immediately rolled wants for another baby. While ACR didn't fulfill that, I may have locked it.

Despite getting both Celeste and Katrina to learn their toddler skills (without smart milk this time!), this is the only picture I have of one of them completing a skill. Feel honored, Celeste.

(Can I start just posting images without captions in updates like I do on Tumblr? I think I'll start doing that going forward.)

Since I was too busy trying to keep everyone's needs up, I missed Mason's first pop! This will be kid number six, and perhaps the stopping point. I'm still on the fence on what to do, but I may take a point hit to give him and Ben some exilir of life (since this 'hood doesn't have an aging mod and they're a week out from elder), and pause aging. See, with my neighborhood on Tumblr, Sapphire Springs, I have a five day pregnancy mod in to account for the aging mod, which I forgot to take out before playing here. I figured this would keep aging of the house relatively in sync.

Ben: So, baby six is officially on the way, huh?
Mason: Yep! I can't believe it. I wouldn't change a thing, however.
Ben: Neither would I.

Alex tried to be helpful and make some breakfast, which turned south very fast.

Alex: I was tired, okay? These things could happen to anyone!

This is where the update ends! Normally I'd have a point tally down here, but nothing really changed. Can't count the chickens before they hatch, so I'm not adding on the sibling bonus for baby six yet. Libra is at this moment one sim day away from teenagerdom, which means this challenge will finally pick up once more! See you in the next installment!
