harmoniouspixels | Baines LEPacy 2.0 - Gen 1.3 Update

Welcome back everyone to a new installment of the Baines LEPacy! A small-ish update today, and this time we are powered by knowledge from sevenleaf! They gave me the Knowledge on how to write these updates in HTML vs. the WYSIWYG editor, and it's been a lot smoother (and more fun to do)!

With that, let's get into the update!

Starting off this update with Cathy reading the newspaper. It's a good thing I did on a whim, since her wedding was in the paper!

Connor had a book with a default title in progress, and he finished it to bring in those big bucks! (Well, it's technically a best-seller despite that lower payout.

Using some of her newfound freetime due to getting leave for the wedding, Cathy popped over to the bistro to fix their plumbing for an opportunity. She ran into her boss and of of her boss's kids too! (I think his name was... Joe? Sure. Joe.

Cathy: Gotta-- get-- those-- GAINS!

Oh, and a teen Bella Bachelor and Sandi French were doing homework at the gym fsr.

Bella: Why are we doing homework at the gym again?

Sandi: Fuck the system.

Bella: Alright then.

On her way home, Cathy swung by Vita Alto's new digs (with her much younger boyfriend) to befriend her for the opportunity from last time.

Oh, and the forever infamous Cycl0n3 Sw0rd called her for a date. Sorry, we're taken pal.

It's time for a ~domestic bliss~ montage!

And so concludes our ~domestic bliss~ montage.

This pudding townie gets screentime solely because I found him cute. However, he will never be seen again, since I didn't save him or move him in somewhere.

Cathy just #vibed outside the bookstore reading a new recipe while Agnes and Cornelia screamed over a baby screaming.

I forgot what Cathy was trying to make, but uh, well. Hmm.

Cathy: I have let you down, Gordon Ramsey. I have let you down.

I finally checked the mail and got the wedding gifts! Cathy tried out the chemistry table and...

...it went about as well as you'd expect, except Cathy here had five! logic skill points.

Cathy: Hey! It can happen to the best of us!

Connor needed some interviews for his job, so I sent him to the park. Why not interview the guy with his male-presenting nipples out?

(Spoiler: It's because no one cares to read a story about a guy like that.)

Cathy and Connor did the woo and the hoo in an attempt for a baby...

...which proved useless. You know when and where it worked though? In the shower the next morning. I did not document this.

Connor broke the computer after writing his next novel, so he fixed it afterwards. It was a Drama novel for Blair Wainwright by way of an opportunity.

Here it is! The Parisian Influence draws its name from turning my head to the right and seeing a poster of Ladybug and Chat Noir from the show, Miraculous Ladybug!

With that, we end our update! Our heir is on the way, Cathy is at Level 5 in her career (and Connor too iirc). Things are progressing smoothly for now, and hopefully I can keep the tempo up to get to Showtime! (I really want to get to Showtime.)
