Hart MMBC Episode 0 - So You Want a BC

Original Airdate: January 14th, 2017
Locals still talk about it. Truthfully, it hasn’t been that long since it aired. Currently there is a compelling case to free Finley Kang, spearheaded by the bacheloret’s mother herself, Apollonia Matthews. Things are looking up for the release of Mx. Kang, however. Even if Ms. Matthews and her legal team are able to free Finley, the results of the challenge wouldn’t be changed.
Despite the ongoing investigation, the network that hosted the Francis MMBC promoted Ms. Cathy Baines to a higher position within the company. An executive producer, or something like that. It has people mad, especially what came out of the final “check-in” episode of Francis. Mx. Francis has been unreachable this entire time. People have taken to Social Media to proclaim that they have “Done [bleep]ed Up”, among other things. MMBCs, despite what sources have been claiming, are still on the rise
"With all of that information, are you sure you still want to go through with this Mr. Hart?"
Dean: Yes, of course. And call me Dean, by the way. “Mr. Hart” sounds too formal. I want this to be as causal as possible. What was your name again? I’m sorry; I didn’t quite catch it.
Australia: Oh, yes, right. Mr. Australia Aytes. But I suppose Australia would do, or even “Aussie” if we’re being completely informal.
Dean: See, now isn’t that better? Let’s get down to brass text now, shall we?
Dean: As much as I would love to have the contest here in my beloved Appaloosa, perhaps we could find somewhere else? A little more quaint?
Australia: I’ll see what I can do Dean, but I can’t promise anything. Now, about the teaser shots…
Dean: We can do it here! But first, you’ll need to change.
Australia: Wait, what?
Dean: I’ve got some lighting we can use, but first, you should change. I want the theme of my BC to be “causal fun”.
Australia: Well I did bring my gym bag, since I was going to hit the gym after this, but I suppose I could change now.
Dean: Excellent! The bedroom is back behind me; second door on the left.
Dean: This is going to be so fun!
Australia: [to himself] How did I not notice the lights before?
Australia: Better?
Dean: Yes, much. Now let’s move the couch by the window behind you. I think it’ll make a better staging shot.
Australia: I think you’re on to something here. Let’s do it.
Hart Bachelor Challenge: Your Host
Australia Aytes is an aspiring player for the Llamas sports team. He wants to go into football, but he’s still working his way through the ranks. However, being a star college athlete has gotten him the notoriety to be one of the commentators for college games. The entertainment network thought this would be a good way for Australia to gain more exposure. Australia isn’t too sure that he’ll make a good host, but he’s willing to give it a shot. Call it his ambitious nature.

Okay, okay. I can’t resist the call of an MMBC. I’m having withdraws from Francis, and to be quite frank, after doing some in-character stuff, I don’t know where to go. While I have many saves that need attention, I want to do another MMBC. Sue me.

Dean Hart loves the cold, and is quite the chef. Like Australia, he is quite athletic and ambitious by nature. However, like Troye Francis, he can be childish too.

Dean will be accepting 12 contestants to win over his heart. Yes, 12. I wanted to this last time, but things got in the way. With the pre-simblr demand (those listed already contacted me on Twitter) so high, it is only fair I offer up four additional slots! MESSAGE TO GET ONE! With a low pool of availability, it’s definitely first come, first serve.
Creation Deadline: The week of January 30th. This means you’ll have until the end of this month to make your contestants, but the latest you can submit is February 3rd. (Maybe the 4th if I’m feeling a little generous).
Interview questions will be handed out once we have our roster! But if you’re one of those people who has a sim lined up, give a short bio, and then have your sim answer the questions. Thank you!

- Any gender can apply, but Dean here has a preference for male/male presenting people. Make sure to include a pronouns set with your sim!
- Vanillas, Berries, and Occults can apply!
- We are only barring ghosts (and genies. See the sixth bullet for info). That wouldn’t be a fair MMBC otherwise.
- Do not use the Unlucky/Loser traits (this is an MMBC), or the I*ane/Unconventional trait (y’all know why).
- For this challenge, I will not have WA or IP active. The only SPs active will be HELS and MSS.
- PETS is a possibility, if I do decide to leave this in Appaloosa. Showtime may be active, because I’m inspired by Collins MMBC for karaoke. Otherwise, assume they won’t be active.
- CC can be used! Just please don’t go overboard. My computer and myself thank you for that.
- No sliders, if you will.No .sims3packs please for the sims. Avoid it if you can with CC too, but if you can’t, no worries.
- Store content is iffy, but if you have some way of providing it, that’s cool. Ask for what I have!
- We do not have to be mutuals for you to apply!
- If you were in Francis MMBC, you can still join!
- The most important: Being okay with your sim dying. This is a murder mystery challenge after all.
