Baines LEPacy 2.0 - Gen 1.10 Update - Teenage Freedom

Welcome to the newest edition of the Baines LEPacy! This time: What happens when you leave your newly turned teenage child alone for several days? The answer may shock you!

We rejoin Caleb as he begins to paint for the first time as a teenager.

Caleb: I call this one, "How the fuck do I manage on my own for several days, because who just sends out random invites for a free vacation?"

Also, seriously game??? A free vacation and a formal dance in the same week? Guess you're just frontloading for Caleb here, huh.

Caleb had a wish to get a part-time job, so he applied for a position at the bookstore!

With the parents away and a job secured, it's time to get people together for a party! Starting with this townie kid here, who is the SP baby of some premades, which I forgot to commit to memory (or I did remember, and then I got knocked on my ass from getting sick. Oop.)

Caleb: How do you, fellow teenager? Care for a party?

Teenager: Just ask normally and I'll consider. You sound like a cop.

Party time! The teens Caleb actually knew were limited since the game decided to give me all of the Generations things at once! His friend Donnie was invited too, even though they were still a child here. (If I'm remembering right, Donnie is just one sim day behind Caleb.)

Ope--

Caleb: Hey everyone I know this has been fun, but someone saw us so we gotta break this up!

[Various stampeding noises can be heard]

But it looks like everyone had a good time? So it's a small victory perhaps.

It's still a daily struggle for our resident hydrophobe to get clean.

Caleb: [muttering] I hate you.

Those childhood skill objects really come in handy!

Caleb: And I used that power to make cookies for breakfast. :D

Caleb had an opportunity to visit the science lab to improve his grades, but he had to turn right around because of work.

Caleb: Thanks, I hate it. :)

Caleb: Shit! I dropped a wiener!

The next day after a field trip, Caleb quits his job.

Caleb: Yeah, so Jack forgot to put me into clubs and realized this too late, so I'm gonna have to quit bye~~

Caleb's friend, Donnie, aged up, and striking while the coals were hot, rawred xD his way into their heart and asked him to the prom!

All the while, Bella Bachelor (who may have been Bella Goth for a hot second before SP broke her and Mortimer up), had hit rock bottom and was dumpster diving.

Cathy and Connor returned refreshed from their vacation at some point, and Caleb and his mom worked out in sync to get those Baines Gaines(TM).

Cathy got a promotion! I believe it was to neurosurgeon, but since FRAPS crapped on me AGAIN, who knows! Also this is the first time we've seen Leighton Sekemoto in this whole legacy, which is a feat considering he's one of my premade faves. (Also his partner, Monika Morris, who seems to always be paired with him whenever I don't play his household and SP is at the wheel.)

Connor completed his LTW this round as well! Which may have been brought about quicker using the boost to royalties Lifetime Reward, but shhh. The book title is nothing special for once. It's one generated by the game, but since I'm also a Fire Emblem fan (specifically, Three Houses), there's an in-game class of Myrmidon, so I figured I'd keep the title.

Caleb: You look nice tonight. ;)

Donnie: [flustered] T-Thanks.

Cathy: Can you believe our son is arleady going to prom? It only feels like it was yesterday when he was born...

With that, we end our update! I feel like we got to see a lot of the Generations content in this update, all thanks to the game giving it to me right up front. Next update is a little less Generations focused as we get back to working on Cathy's LTW! See you then!
