Welcome back to the next update of the Baines LEPacy! This time, we've got Cathy making some #moves on Connor, and moving on up in her career!
I'll have you seeing double with the picture, but that's on me for choosing the first one of this set as the lead in. But hey, it's a waffle face! That's gotta amount to something, right?
This time around, Cathy went to visit Connor at his new digs, since he moved out of his brother's house. Unfortunately it looks like he lived with Tamara, which is a bit Yikes. But it didn't seem to matter, since Tamara was busy trying to get into Stiles McGraw's pants (and failing miserably).
Agnes Crumplebottom! I had Cathy run over and say hello while she was out since they were neighbors in the previous version of this challenge. The proof is (quite literally) in the pudding. *Ba dum tiss*
The next day Cathy went to visit Morgana, but in true TS3 fashion, she was invisible/in the ground.
Cathy: So what's it like being invisible?
Morgana: No different than living my current marriage, really.
Sometime during the week, Cathy got promoted to become a paramedic. After staying late one shift, she came out of the hospital to see an aged up River McIrish telling ghost stories.
River: ...and they bought up all the toilet paper!
Cathy: [in a mocking tone] That's just unrealistic.
Not in the same day as River's story, but also during the week, Cathy visited Connor at the park! He was out for a jog. The two got lovey in front of Holly Alto, who tried her best to focus on her work.
And since this is a legacy with aging on, I figured it was high time for them to get married! (Ftr I hadn't played a save with aging on in a minute, so I forgot how quickly time goes by.)
The next day was their wedding! Lovely cinematic parallels between this save and what happened to her twin sister, Veronica. :) **Content Warning of death/guns/murder/etc. for the first link!**
"Why isn't Veronica in this save file?" you might find yourself asking. The reason? Sheer laziness, really. Also I'd need at least Late Night for her, and since I'm not using that here... she's off in Bridgeport in this canon let's say.
Anyway, back to the wedding!
What a lovely ceremony!
Cake time! I would've gotten a shot of them cutting the cake, but due to my placement and the game's terrible routing, that didn't happen. They also "celebrated" (AKA woohooed) their marriage, but I didn't get a screenshot of that since we had one last update, and it wasn't a try for baby (yet).
Unfortunately, it's a rather short update, but we've reached the end! I'm hoping to play this weekend so we can progress Cathy to Level 5 of her career, get work done on Connor's LTW (Professional Author), and perhaps have an heir on the way!
